Tyler Sar named York County Community Faculty 2022 Student of the 12 months
WELLS, Maine — Tyler Sar, a initial-era university university student has been named York County Neighborhood College’s 2022 Student of the Year. Sar was also named major of his class in the Maine Legal Justice Corrections Academy.
With his diploma in prison justice and successful completion of academy training, Sar has been hired as a corrections officer at the York County Sheriff’s Department. He hopes to operate with offenders to cut down recidivism and the negative effect that incarceration can have on a person’s everyday living.
